How durable can bags made in China be? At least during the 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the media bags presented by China in 2008 with reporters on their backs are still solid. Looking at the logo of "Jing" on the backpack, I feel a little bit traversal. I didn't think that 14 years have passed.

This is only a microcosm of the level of China's luggage industry. According to the data of the General Administration of Customs, from January to November 2022, 2.72 million bags and similar containers were exported, with an export value of 214.032 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 24.5%. Affected by the epidemic, China's luggage export volume was once depressed. At the end of this year, it cleared the haze and achieved growth.

China's luggage accounts for nearly 40% of the world's exports. Although it is large in scale, it has no advantage in profit. One of the reasons is that our luggage industry has capacity, but there is no brand, and the premium is low. The products of thousand yuan and ten thousand yuan are mostly occupied by overseas brands.

At present, with the increasing demand for outdoor activities, sports and travel, the luggage industry is also facing new development opportunities. To find out the advantages of industry development and make changes to the market is the way to seek incremental response.
